Flu Vaccinations

If you are over 65 years old, have a chronic condition, are a carer or are pregnant and didn't receive the swine flu vaccine, you may be eligible for the season flu injection. Check out the NHS website here for more details. Please speak to reception about getting your flu vaccine before the end of the year.

New Building!

In March 2012 we hope to move to new purpose built premises to provide more space and better access for GP services. It is currently being built on the site of the old Sparkhill Clinic on the Stratford Road just a 3 minute walk from the current building. Springfield surgery has consistently grown since it begin nearly 20years ago and we have outgrown our existing premises. We have no plans to merge with other practices who will also be working in the building but it will allow us to continue to grow and provide opportunities for more teaching and training. If you have any questions about this please let us know. We welcome comments and feedback about this plan.
